Spritely

Light Regular Medium Bold Extra Bold

Spritely features a high-contrast design with dramatic thick-thin stroke variation that creates Didone-like elegance in a condensed sans serif format. Cursive-like terminals on letters like ‘n’ and ‘l’ reference pointed pen tradition, while looped characters like the ‘k’, ‘g’, and ‘y’, along with an italic-like ‘e’, bring a calligraphic character to the design.

These distinctive details emerged during a type design workshop while exploring pointed pen techniques. I began adding calligraphic-inspired finials and script-like elements, creating a condensed sans serif that radiates personality and sophistication.

The condensed proportions make Spritely ideal for display applications. It works beautifully for brand identities, signage, luxury packaging, and editorial layouts, particularly suiting fashion, beauty, travel, and entertainment brands seeking modern elegance. Case-sensitive punctuation ensures refined all-caps setting, while support for over 40 languages including full Vietnamese brings distinctive character to projects worldwide.
